Pazhampori or Ethakka appam are yummy and scrumptious banana fritters that are marked as one of the traditional tea time snacks of the Gods own country. Theyre obtainable all over Kerala and are simply ripe bananas coated with plain flour and deep-fried in oil.
2)All-purpose flour-1 cup
3)Rice flour-1 table spoon
4)Sugar-1 table spoon
5)Turmeric Powder-a pinch
6)Water -3/4 cup
METHOD OF PREPARATION
1)Slit the plantain lengthwise after peeling.
2)Mix All-purpose flour, Rice flour, Sugar, Turmeric Powder, and salt. Blend the ingredients well with water.
3)Evenly coat the plantain slices with the batter prepared.
4)Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the slices.
5)Drain the excess oil using tissues.
