Cevapi is a dish made of grilled minced meat. It is considered to be the national dish of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. It originated in the Balkans. It’s usually served with flatbread, chopped onions, feta cheese, sour cream, salt, red pepper and kajmak. Cevapi could be made of lamb, pork or beef and sometimes mixed. It is believed that the word cevapi was derived from the Persian word kebab but it still remains a mystery.
